Payment details are processed securely by trusted third-party providers. Mangerine does not store full payment card information.

5. Account deletion

You may permanently delete your Mangerine account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

When your account is deleted:

  • Your profile is removed from the platform
  • Personal identifiers are deleted or anonymized
  • You lose access to your account permanently

Account deletion cannot be undone. Please download any data you wish to keep before deleting your account.

6. What happens to your data after deletion

After deletion, Mangerine removes or anonymizes your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required or permitted by law for:

  • Legal, tax, or accounting obligations
  • Fraud prevention and security investigations
  • Dispute resolution and enforcement of our agreements
  • Secure backup systems (automatically erased on a rolling schedule)

Content you shared with others (such as public comments or messages already sent) may remain visible but will no longer be linked to your identity.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL)
  • Access controls and monitoring
  • Secure infrastructure and regular reviews

No system is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.

8. International data transfers

As a global platform, your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we use lawful safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent protections to keep your data safe.

9. Suspended or terminated accounts

If an account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms, we may retain relevant data as necessary to:

11. No liability after deletion

Once your data or account has been deleted or anonymized, Mangerine is not responsible for any resulting loss of data or content. Users are responsible for backing up their information.
